Last stage of Workplace Reform (for now): 1 January 2010

The last stages of the Rudd Government’s new workplace relations laws come into effect on 1 January 2010. This marks the end of the 3 year-process of replacing the Howard government’s WorkChoices amendments with the Rudd Government’s Fair Work Act 2009 (Act).

Editor's Piece 2010

If you have ever wondered what happens when a peloton of fast racing bicycles gets untidy you can now ask our Presidente Wadi Nadzri who fractured his collar bone and shoulder blade four weeks ago in such circumstances. We wish Wadi the best for his quick recovery. Let this be a warning as to the dangers of fitness and exercise. Fear not however, the schedule of great events for the second half of 2010 remains on track.
